We had a fabulous brunch this past Sunday with Eddie Daniels in a face to face luncheon conversation format guided by John Greenspan, jazz host of KSFR. Nancy Laflin, Executive Director of the New Mexico Music Commission, presented Daniels and Greenspan with official letters of commendation. |

The Friends of Santa Fe Jazz hosted Chiara Civello Quartet on October 3, 2008. She and her group gave a sensational performance.
Next we are looking forward to hosting Joshua Breakstone on October 19 in a private home event. Joshua will be performing with the John Trentacosta Trio, an area group of fine jazz musicians. |

I came to Santa Fe four years ago from the presidency of Boston's Berklee College of Music. Berklee is a college renowned for jazz education. I'm particularly gratified at the success of the Friends of Santa Fe Jazz in expanding the number and variety of jazz artists performing here each fall and spring.
