Enjoy the lively jazz sounds of the John Trentacosta Trio fronted by saxophonist Brian Bennett, known for

his large sweet tenor sound, at this jazz social at one of New Mexico’s most acclaimed golf clubs. Ticket price includes great music, lovely views, complimentary hors d’oeuvres, no host bar and free parking. Produced by the Friends of Santa Fe Jazz and the Black Mesa Golf Club.


Designed by Baxter Spann, the course opened in 2003 to numerous accolades including "Best New Affordable Course" by Golf Digest and one of the" Top Ten Courses You Can Play" that debuted that year by GOLF Magazine. Since then, Black Mesa has been continually cited in the media for its challenging play for golfers of all skill levels, stunning panoramic views and exceptional value.

The course has been rated in the various industry Top 100 lists since it opened. and was recently named one of the "Ten Most Spectacular Courses in the World" by LINKS Magazine.

From Santa Fe: Take 285 N/US-84 N. Continue to follow US-285 N/US-84 N 22 miles, then turn left on NM 399 S. at the stop light just before the Dreamcatcher Cinema. Go approximately 1 mile and you will see the entrance to Black Mesa Golf Club on the left. marked by an inscribed boulder on the shoulder of the road. A 45 minute scenic drive from Sante Fe.
