Renowned jazz trumpeter Bobby Shew has performed with legendary jazz orchestras of Tommy Dorsey, Woody Herman, Buddy Rich, Louie Bellson, Maynard Ferguson and Toshiko Akiyoshi-Lew Tabackin. His recordings have won both Grammy nominations(1980) and the 1983 Grammy for Jazz Album of the Year for “Heavy Company.” He will be accompanied by John Trentacosta’s Straight Up Jazz Trio including Brian Bennett on piano, Michael Olivola on bass, and John Trentacosts on drums.
Jazz brunch menu selections include choice of two entrees(Poached Eggs with Corn Beef Hash on Country Biscuit, Cracked Pepper Hollandaise and Melon Salad, or Grilled Chicken Crepes with Gruyere Bechamel Sauce, Field Green Salad with Cranberry Vinaigrette and Spicy Pecans); DEssert(Chocolate Fondue, Berries of the Season, whip Cream and Chocalolate Shavings) and choice of one non-alcoholic beverage(tea, coffee, soda, or juice). Breadbasket provided with sourdough rolls, Rosemary Parmesan Breadsticks, and Petite Cinnamonon Buns.
