Ingrid Jensen one of the most important of the current generation of jazz artists. Jazz trumpeter Ingrid Jensen has performed at festivals and other settings all over the world since graduating from Boston's Berklee College of Music in 1989. The versatile soloist and leader has performed and/or recorded with StevieĀ Wonder, and such well known jazz figures as Terence Blanchard, Eddie Henderson, Bobby Hutcherson, Clark Terry, Lionel Hampton and his Golden Men of Jazz, and numerous others. Ingrid has seven CD's to her credit, three of which won nominations from the Canadian Juno Awards as well as a Juno in 1995 for Vernal Fields. An educator who also offers master classes, clinics, and workshops, she has served as the youngest professor at Austria's Bruckner Conservatory and on the faculty for the past five years of the Port Townsend Centrum Jazz Workshop.
